Born in the 1950's and raised in southern California (Pomona/Claremont area) I grew up at a wonderful time in the history of the area. At 15 I began playing bass guitar and loved the powerful feel of amplified bass. Soon after that I switched to guitar, a much more expressive instrument. For 15 years I played guitar in the area with several local groups. After college, as an optical technician I learned all facets of the trade and worked for 7 years at various companies in the southland. I have also owned and operated an ever growing recording studio since 1972. About that time I became a certified scuba diver and enjoyed diving at the coast of the Pacific. A career change landed me in the electronic repair field. After working several years for 2 different companies, I opened Audionyx, my own business doing quality electronic repair. In 1980 I found the instrument of my dreams, the Chapman Stick. I literally gave up guitar to woodshed this new technique of playing music. Married and 2 children later, in 1988 I relocated to the beautiful mountains of Prescott, Arizona. I have played in the area in original as well as cover bands ever since. I continued my business for many years until I got offered a job running the computer department for a large electronics firm in the mid 90's. After nine years in the trenches, in late 2005 I took that experience and re-opened Audionyx concentrating on computers, building custom systems, repairing and upgrading. As of 2016 my main focus has become my solo act called "evoL-ution", performing live as a one-man-band. You can catch my shows all over northern Arizona where I perform often in Prescott as well as in Sedona and the Verde Valley area.
